One of the veterans of IPRA – Arturo J. Jesurun, Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, passed away in January at the age of 84
He joined the association as early as 1962 and was one the members who met in Athens in 1965, when the first copy of our code of ethics –the Code of Athens – was presented to the Greek Minister of Culture.

The Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Communications Africa Limited (Stratcomm Africa), Ms. Esther Amba Numaba Cobbah, has been elected to membership of the Council of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) as the Representative for Ghana and to chair the Ghana Branch of the IPRA. Her two –year term of office took effect from 1st January, 2010.
