How do we use your personal information?
We may process your personal information for our legitimate business interests of direct marketing, the Golden World Awards competition, member services, and PR related news and information.
Our online contact form has an opt-in function for direct marketing and other information services. IPRA has conducted a Legitimate Interest Assessment and relies on the following grounds for legitimate interest: Reasonable expectation, and a Relevant & appropriate relationship. These grounds cover population of our database with the email addresses and related personal information of the following types: Pro Members, Standard Members, Emeritus Members, Associate Members, LinkedIn Group Members, past and current GWA Entrants, past and current webinar and conference attendees.
All IPRA bulk emails have an automatic unsubscribe function. Unsubscribe requests from our marketing database means your data is erased immediately. IPRA never passes your data on to third parties. IPRA will retain the data of members for all the time they remain paid-up members or are subject to a current agreement, and IPRA will retain the data of sign-ups to our website for 5 years.
Please remember that if you use an external link on the IPRA website these are not our responsibility. Once you go to an external site you will be subject to that organisation’s privacy policies, not ours.

Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, respond to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site.
