IPRA works on a freedom of expression project in Burma

The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) is working on a freedom of press and expression project in Burma with several NGOs.

The GWA, the world's top International PR Awards competition calls for entries

IPRA Golden World Awards Deadline Is 6 May. The 21st annual IPRA Golden World Awards, the top international public relations awards competition, has issued a call for entries. The entry deadline is 6 May.

The entry kit for the 2013 GWA is available online. Late entries will be accepted through 20 May with payment of a £50/entry late fee.

Arturo J. Jesurun in Memoriam

He joined the association in 1962 and was one the members who met in Athens in 1965, when the first copy of our code of ethics –the Code of Athens – was presented to the Greek Minister of Culture.

UNESCO wins the International Public Relations Association President’s Award in 2009

The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) has announced UNESCO as the winner of its highest honour for last year. IPRA thus recognizes the outstanding work of UNESCO to insure better educational and cultural prospects to people and thus to help bridge divides created by the different levels of access to education in different world regions.
