Message from the IPRA President: A toast to new beginnings January 2019

I hope you all had a great holiday season and I wish you and your families a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year. Today, I am proud to write to you as the 2019 IPRA President as we start what I believe will be an interesting, challenging and rewarding journey together.

Message from the IPRA President: A moment of reflection December 2018

Amost three years ago, at an event in The Hague, The Netherlands, attended by IPRA Board members and several past Presidents, I assumed the presidency of IPRA.  In a brief speech, I expressed my appreciation for being chosn to be the symbolic figurehead of IPRA.  After all, coinciding with this was the ending of my full-time career in public relations.  I wondered out loud, hopefully without criticizing myself so that those present would object, if I wasn't too old, if IPRA shouldn't have someone in the midst of her (sic) career as President.

IPRA judges select Grand Prix at Eventiada IPRA GWA

Eventiada IPRA Golden World Awards (GWA), the largest communications award in Eastern Europe, CIS countries and Central Asia, a regional partner of IPRA Golden World Awards, the global award organized since 1990 by the International Public Relations Association, honored its nominees and winners during the 8th Eventiada IPRA GWA Gala Ceremony. In 2018 projects from 13 countries competed for the attention of international jury: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Croatia and Estonia.

IPRA, the International Public Relations Association, has signed a co-operation agreement with the Public Relations Society of Malawi (PRSM). Under the agreement, inter alia, the organisations will exchange materials such as IPRA’s Thought Leadership essays and know-how to help with the development of the PR profession.

PR campaigns on water conservation globally and eye-care in the Philippines join the winners of the 2018 IPRA Golden World Awards, while Chinese women are the stars of the new influencer category

The IPRA Golden World Awards for Excellence (GWA): the world’s most prestigious PR awards scheme, announces a total of 80 winners for 2018, up some 25% on last year. Many entries tackled social and health issues such as eye-care amongst children in the Philippines, and activities with an extraordinary 1 billion reach to promote World Water Day.
