Trust and ethics at heart of address to the African Public Relations Association

(Comments)

IPRA sees public relations as the truthful building of relationships and interests with the ultimate goal of human advancement.” This was the core message delivered by IPRA board member Esther Cobbah at the conference of the African Public Relations Association (APRA) held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire 13 – 17 May 2024.

Under the theme One Africa, One Voice: bridging Africa’s communication divide the event explored the pivotal role of public relations in unifying the diverse African continent and amplifying Africa’s unified voice on the global stage.

In response to this theme Esther Cobbah pledged that “IPRA is committed to collaborating with APRA for intensifying truthful communication about the continent of Africa globally. Such truthfulness includes communicating Africa’s story and the opportunities it offers with accuracy for the benefit of Africa and the rest of the world.
