An Invitation to participate in research.
COP30 is starting soon. From 10 – 21 November 2025, the leaders of the world will come together in Brazil’s city of Belém to discuss global climate policy at the UN Climate Change Conference.
As an international association with consultative status at the United Nations, we call upon our members to discuss the climate crisis, to create global responses, and to take action.
Ahead of the conference, an alliance of CEOs representing more than 130 companies with 12 million employees and combined $4 trillion revenue have published a letter arguing that: "The business case for climate action is proven and compelling".
Meanwhile, research firm GlobeScan found that: "Across the globe, people overwhelmingly agree that switching from fossil-based energy to renewables is necessary.” And the approval rates ranged from the high eighties in North America and Europe to the high nineties in Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
Now we would like to hear from you. What role does climate change communication play in your work? What do you see as challenges, what are the opportunities? We invite you to give us your view by October 19 in our survey the output of which will be global insights on climate change comms. The survey takes three minutes.
