Dr. Amybel Sánchez de Walther made an important academic contribution to the field of Public Relations by the beginning of her presidential term.

As part of her commitment to research in Public Relations, Dr. Amybel Sánchez de Walther, our current President, made her contribution to the book Latin American and Caribbean perspectives on the development of Public Relations: Other Voices, the fourth volume of six books on national histories of PR.

Dr. Sánchez essay, a deep study devoted to the evolution of Public Relations in Peru, compiles information of diverse stages of the Peruvian history from the 1950s onwards. As well, it describes how Public Relations began to grow in importance in the academic and corporate fields based on the emphasis put on the ethical principles.

The book Latin American and Caribbean perspectives on the development of Public Relations: Other Voices, was written by prominent PR historians and scholars, and belongs to The National Perspectives on the Development of Public Relations: Other Voices series, whose editor is the renowned Tom Watson, Professor of Public Relations in The Media School at Bournemouth University, United Kingdom; the publisher is Palgrave Macmillan.

This genuine and global vision of Public Relations history is already available in e-book version through Amazon.
