Human above all – the theme of Slovenia's annual conference

Ethical communication in the era of rapid artificial intelligence development, the future of the public relations profession, and the responsibility of PR practitioners were among the key topics discussed during a panel at the 27th SKOJ Conference of the Slovenian Public Relations Association, held under the theme Human Above All.

 

The panel was led and moderated by the PRSS President Tina Cipot and comprised Nataša Pavlović Bujas, IPRA President 2024 – 2025, and Prof. Dr. Dejan Verčič, Chairman of the IPRA ABA regional chapter and head of the international research team behind the recent IPRA Gold Paper Ethical Standards and Guidelines for the Use of AI in Public Relations.

 

Nataša echoed the event’s theme is her intervention: “The human being remains at the centre of public relations, further emphasizing the responsibility of PR practitioners to act in the best interest of communities and to use their influence responsibly."
