An invitation to indulge in excellence: the GWA Gala in Ghana

The IPRA Golden World Awards for Excellence awards ceremony and Gala dinner will take place at 19.15 on Friday 3 October 2025 in Accra, Ghana. The Gala will be at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. The Gala is open to all GWA winners, IPRA members and friends. The event will also celebrate IPRA’s 70th anniversary and the inauguration of our President 2026. So, it will be quite a party!

The sumptuous Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Independence Avenue Ridge, PMB CT343, Accra, Ghana is the Official Hotel of the IPRA Golden World Awards for Excellence 2025. The Gala is an event like no other. It is fun and a great opportunity to network with other winners, meet the IPRA Board, and have fun for the rest of the weekend.
Special prizes
Also at the Gala we will announce the two special prizes. The Global Contribution Award recognises a campaign with an objective of meeting one of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The overall IPRA Grand Prix for Excellence is presented to the entry judged as representing the highest standards that year. Will it be you for 2025?

The Institute of PR Ghana is organising a PR conference on the day of the Gala, 08.00 – 16.00 3 October 2025. Under the auspices of John Dramani Mahama, President of Ghana, the event is called “Global Realities and Innovative Communications”. Book tickets locally and separate to your Gala ticket.
