Mina Nazari received her PRO PR GLOBE award at a ceremony in Belgrade last week. Ms. Nazari was IPRA’s nomination from 2023. She is manager for public relations and communications at the Power Distribution Company of Tabriz. The PRO PR GLOBE awards are organised by Croatian PR agency, Apriori World. The awards recognise individuals whose work contributes to a better perception of PR by the public. IPRA’s representative to the PRO PR GLOBE awards is board member Jacqueline Purcell.

Mina’s award recognises, “Both her professional representation of the public relations industry in Iran, and the fact she displays the qualities of goodwill that are the very essence of exemplary PR practice,” says Jacqueline. “I believe that she will continue to empower women in public relations in the region.”

This year the awards were designed by students from the Academy of Arts, Novi Sad in Serbia. Other award winners of the competition are from Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Background to the PRO PR GLOBE awards

The PRO PR GLOBE awards are organised by Croatian PR agency, Apriori World. They recognise individuals whose work contributes to a better perception of the positioning of PR with the public. The recognition is of individuals not projects. Since 2017 certain winners have been nominated by the global communication associations: the International Public Relations Association, the International Communication Consulting Organization, the Public Relations and Communications Association and the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. The awards also feature PRO PR Vision City recognising excellence in the promotion of cities. For more see https://pro-pr.com
