Saving lives in Anguilla PDF


On 7th September 2017, Hurricane Irma wreaked devastation across the Caribbean, including the island of Anguilla, a British Overseas Territory.

Almost overnight and under substantial time restraints, Aequitas devised and implemented a highly-strategic global media campaign to ensure the UK Government lived up to its responsibilities to protect British citizens.

The campaign quite literally saved lives and demonstrates the impact that strategic communications can have on government. Without this campaign, the impact of Hurricane Irma on Anguilla would never have become a global news story, and without the commitment of Aequitas, life-saving assistance would not have been provided.
