Warner Bros. Asks Chinese Kids “Where Do Babies Come From?” PDF


In spite of a small budget, an awkward launch date, fierce competition, and a short lead time, Warner Bros. mounted a campaign that propelled its animated movie, “Storks”, straight to no. 1 at the Chinese Box Office. Inspired by the movie storyline, and Chinese parents’ love for sharing pictures and videos of their children on social media, we decided to ask children where they think babies come from and share this on social media. The result: cute, funny and entertaining viral content that positioned “Storks” as a film that celebrates child-like innocence and smashing all of its targets
