To raise awareness about the impact of our decisions, climate change and sustainability, BBK undertook a social and artistic experiment called Kolapso, which was designed to interact with its environment and people. A globe-shaped sculpture symbolizing the world and displaying the pressure humans exert with their decisions. We built a metaverse representing Bilbao, where citizens could register their sustainable habits. As the artwork was interconnected, we were able to collect real time data that affected the sculpture by inflating and deflating. The sphere collapsed in only 73 hours, exploding due to the vast amounts of data obtained in the metaverse.
