IPRA chooses 2010 Golden World Award Winners for excellence in public relations
ISTANBUL 25 June 2010 – The International Public Relations Association
(IPRA) has chosen the 26 category-winners of its 2010 Golden World Awards
for Excellence in PR. Some features of this years´ candidate as well as winning
entries are, unsurprisingly, marked by the economic context which has prevailed in
2009: while some countries are seeking to restore confidence, others show clear
signs of business dynamism.
The IPRA judges have chosen 26 winners from the 30 categories open for the competition. There were 110 finalists selected from 352 entries received from 42
countries.
“The dynamics of public relations has this year again been demonstrated as a management resource to improve the performance of business as well as public institutions or NGOs in very different contexts”, said Jury Chair Jean´Pierre
Beaudoin, IPRA council member for France.
The GWA prize ceremony will take place in London on Friday 5 November 2010. More information on this and the IPRA Summit will be posted on the ipra website in the near future (www.ipra.org)
